We like to reassure prospective Residents, their friends and family that we will do our utmost to ensure that their stay with us will be a pleasant and fulfilling one.

We are encouraged by the many kind words that have been said about Tracey House and have included a few here.

“I would like to thank you all for the wonderful care and kindness you gave to my sister Elizabeth while she was living with you at Tracey House.

She had such a lovely room and everyone was so kind to her, especially during her last few weeks.

I am so grateful that you were able to keep her to the end as it would have been very traumatic for her to have to move when she was so ill.

Thank you all so very much.”

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for looking after Mum and I for the last few years of her life. The care shown by all the staff was exceptional and I was truly amazed that even with no nursing staff you were able to keep Mum at Tracey House for the last few weeks. I was blown away by the genuine feelings of affection for Mum shown by everyone and I think this feeling of being part of a big family led Mum to being the most content and happy I had ever seen her over the 5 years with you.

A big thank you to one and all of you.”

“Thank you to everyone for your care and love for Daphne and also to your support to Maggie and I!

From the moment she arrive I know Daphne felt safe and secure and Tracey House very quickly became ‘home’.

She never grew tired of the lovely view from her window and around the gardens. And I know she appreciated all the help and support you gave her.

Thanks again.”

“Thank you for making Gwen Wallace’s funeral such a memorable occasion and doing everything in style. I am sure she would have been very pleased and touched. It really felt as though she did have a family around her, even if her own family was sadly missing. It is a comfort to think she might be with them now.

Thank you so much all of you for all your care and devotion to Gwen, she was very lucky to have found such a lovely place in which to spend her last years.

With very best wishes to you all and for the future of Tracey House.”

“In returning your user guide I would like to thank you both for receiving my mother and I so kindly last week. I so appreciated, that whilst you are such busy people, you both made time to take in my Mother’s situation and my dilemma. My introductory telephone conversation with you Cynthia, left me more positive than for months past. Then our visit with Jo gave us a heart warming insight as to how my Mother’s quality of life might be transformed.

I know that she needs more company and stimulation than we can provide. I feel that she is marking time here and that what you offer at Tracey House seems very special and exactly what she needs. Even at 96 and with her short term memory loss she would welcome the opportunity to live life more fully again. Until a room becomes available. we would like to take advantage of the ‘days out” scheme that you have kindly offered. If all goes well, she will be with you on Friday February.”

Yours sincerely

“Words can’t express how grateful we all are for all that was done for [Granny], nor can we think of a more excellently run retirement home.”
